Full job description

Hiring Principal Product Manager to lead vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoft Advertising’s Smart Bidding products. Requires deep AI/ML expertise, strong technical background (APIs, infrastructure, AI modeling), and experience defining impactful product vision. Must have excellent stakeholder management, analytical skills with OKR/KPI tracking, and go-to-market planning experience. Requires Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent). Role is full-time, on-site in Mountain View, CA or Redmond, WA. Salary range USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year in U.S., higher in SF Bay Area and NYC. Benefits and additional compensation may apply.

What you'll do

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Microsoft Advertising’s Smart Bidding products
  • Partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance to design solutions that maximize advertiser value

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • Deep AI/ML expertise with ability to integrate AI-first thinking into strategy
  • Solid technical background (APIs, infrastructure, AI modeling)
  • Track record of defining product vision that drives significant business impact
  • Expert stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership
  • Solid analytical skills with OKR/KPI definition and tracking experience
  • Go-to-market planning and product launch experience
