Full job description

Microsoft AI Monetization seeks a Principal Product Designer to lead design vision for next-generation CRM and Marketing technology. The role involves designing AI-powered experiences that unify sales and marketing workflows into intuitive, human-centered platforms. Responsibilities include owning design vision, leading end-to-end design execution, navigating ambiguity, setting design excellence standards, leveraging data and research, and collaborating across teams. Candidates must have a Master's degree with 6+ years or Bachelor's with 8+ years experience in product or service design, a strong portfolio, and skills in design thinking, prototyping, and AI technologies. The position is full-time, on-site in Bengaluru, India, requiring presence in office 4 days a week.

  • Design world-class AI-powered experiences that simplify CRM and marketing workflows
  • Own the design vision for a product area based on deep understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Lead end-to-end design execution from concept to launch with focus on craft, quality, and human-centered approach
  • Navigate ambiguity creatively to deliver impactful experiences quickly and iteratively
  • Set the bar for design excellence including usability, accessibility, and visual polish
  • Work in a fast-paced, design-driven environment encouraging experimentation and bold ideas
  • Use data and research to inform design decisions and define success metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and design teams to create cohesive consumer-grade experiences
  • Explore future AI-powered experiences including conversational interfaces, predictive insights, and personalized workflows

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 8+ years experience in product or service design OR equivalent experience
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience designing world class consumer products from vision through launch
  • Proven track record of setting design vision for innovative products requiring bold thinking and risk taking
  • Ability to break large bodies of work into phased execution plans and lead cross-functional teams
  • High craft in design work and ability to translate vision into polished design prototypes
  • Experience advocating for design thinking and influencing design outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative research for design impact
  • Experience prompting LLMs, working with generative AI, or strong desire to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
