Full job description

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Senior GTM Specialist with 5+ years of experience in advertising industry go-to-market strategy. The role involves owning the go-to-market playbook for ad products in China, building sales strategies, gathering market feedback to influence product roadmap, leading cross-team execution, tracking adoption KPIs, authoring strategic planning documents, and enabling sales through training and localized messaging. Requirements include 7+ years of experience in business agreements, cloud and business application technologies, problem solving in multiple industries, go-to-market and sales experience, and a bachelor's degree. Preferred experience includes leadership roles or selling to Fortune 1000/Global 2000 companies. Location: Shanghai, China.

What you'll do

  • Own the go-to-market playbook for ad products in China from launch planning to driving sustained advertiser adoption and revenue
  • Build sales strategies including positioning, competitive battle cards, and sales plays to help field teams win deals faster
  • Gather frontline feedback from advertisers and sales teams and turn it into recommendations influencing the product roadmap
  • Lead cross-team execution coordinating Product, Sales, Marketing, and Services to ensure smooth launches
  • Define adoption KPIs, build dashboards, and lead business reviews with leadership using data-driven insights
  • Author strategic planning documents including 3-year vision and PR/FAQs to align leadership
  • Train field teams on new capabilities and partner with Marketing on localized messaging for Chinese advertisers

Requirements

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • 7+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking
  • 7+ years of working with Business Application Technologies including End User Compute (EUC), Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services
  • 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry
  • 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Media & Entertainment Industry
  • 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Global Financial Services Industry
  • 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Telecommunications industry
  • 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Automotive & Manufacturing industries
  • 7+ years of solving problems with technology in Energy & Utilities industries
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 7+ years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT
  • 7+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies including Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations
  • 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
