Full job description
Lead the development and scientific vision of a large-scale demand intelligence platform integrating machine learning and large language models for Microsoft Advertising. Responsibilities include defining modeling strategies, architecting ML pipelines, incorporating LLM components, overseeing cross-team collaboration, mentoring applied science teams, ensuring AI/ML governance and compliance, and driving innovation. Requires advanced degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in data science, 5+ years deploying ML solutions, 3+ years technical leadership, expertise in ML techniques, programming (Python), ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), NLP, LLMs, big data and cloud platforms (Azure), MLOps, and AI governance. On-site role in Redmond, WA. Salary range USD 142,800 - 274,800 per year, with higher ranges for specific metro areas.
What you'll do
- Define and drive modeling strategy for advertising recommendations platform using ML and generative AI
- Architect end-to-end machine learning pipelines including data workflows, feature stores, model training, and deployment
