Full job description

The role is for a senior Ad Tech Account Executive responsible for owning strategic partnerships and driving revenue by increasing adoption of Amazon Ads technology products among advertising agencies and enterprise customers. The position requires expertise in Amazon's Ad Tech Suite including Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon DSP, APIs, and AWS components. Responsibilities include accelerating tech feature activation, selling ad tech products, collaborating with internal teams to develop strategic customer plans, and advising customers on product benefits. Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising or adtech sales, strong C-level sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in client relationship management and revenue growth. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, experience using data analytics for sales strategy, and experience in the advertising or media industry. What you'll do

  • Own strategic partnerships and drive revenue for Amazon Ads programmatic media and emerging Ad Tech
  • Increase adoption of Amazon Ads technology products by engaging with advertising agencies and enterprise customers
  • Act as subject matter expert of multiple products within the Amazon Ad Tech Suite
  • Accelerate tech feature activation and usage to improve campaign planning, activation, and measurement
  • Sell features, products, or entire suite of products to optimize the advertising process
  • Collaborate with internal Advertising and AWS sales teams to develop strategic customer plans
  • Advise customers on products and features within Amazon’s ad tech stack to address their needs and challenges
  • Communicate benefits of investing in Amazon Marketing Cloud and other ad tech products
  • Play a strategic role in the overall growth of the Amazon Ads business

Requirements

  • Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building
  • Experience building deep client and agency relationships
  • Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
  • 10+ years experience selling programmatic advertising or adtech
  • MBA or experience building new customer relationships, closing sales and generating revenue (preferred)
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results (preferred)
  • Experience in the advertising, media or agency landscape
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business
  • Experience growing a product to maturity through collaboration with Product teams
