Full job description

Merkle, a dentsu company, is seeking a Power BI Consultant to develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The role involves designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards, creating data visualizations, supporting DAX measure development, managing datasets in Power BI Service, maintaining existing reports, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensuring data accuracy. Required skills include 2-5 years of Power BI experience, knowledge of report design, basic DAX, Power BI Service administration, ability to translate business needs into dashboards, and fluency in English and French. Nice to have are exposure to data modeling, Power Query knowledge, experience in large teams, and background in regulated industries. What you'll do

  • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Create clear and impactful data visualizations aligned with business needs
  • Support the development of basic DAX measures and calculations
  • Work with datasets within Power BI Service (publishing, workspace management, refreshes)
  • Assist in maintaining and improving existing reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reports
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy across dashboards
  • Support the Power BI Expert in delivering BI solutions and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Power BI (2–5 years)
  • Solid knowledge of report design & data visualization principles
  • Basic DAX
  • Power BI Service (publishing, sharing, basic administration)
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into dashboards
  • Experience working with structured datasets
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Exposure to data modeling concepts (star schema) (nice to have)
  • Basic knowledge of Power Query (M) (nice to have)
  • Experience in large or multi-team environments (nice to have)
  • Background in regulated industries or complex organizations (nice to have)
