Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a Platform Support Coordinator to provide application support in collaboration with business teams. The role involves troubleshooting platform issues, maintaining the ticketing system, assisting users, collaborating globally, using AI tools for issue resolution, managing support requests, executing SQL queries, and contributing to the knowledge base. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in support or client-facing roles, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and willingness to learn AI tools. SQL, HTML, Excel, and programmatic advertising knowledge are a plus. What you'll do

  • Support for application issues ensuring incidents are addressed within established SLAs
  • Maintain the company’s ticketing system
  • Answer, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to The Trade Desk’s trading platform
  • Assist internal and external users of the platform
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with team members locally and globally
  • Use agentic AI tools to facilitate issue resolution and speed up tasks
  • Manage and resolve transactional application support requests
  • Execute Stored Procedures and query database using SQL
  • Take initiative on tickets that can be completed without Development Team assistance
  • Contribute to the company’s Knowledge Base by creating and updating articles
  • Provide light after-hours/holiday coverage

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or relevant substitute experience
  • 2+ years relevant work experience as a support representative or similar client-facing role
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • SQL and HTML experience is a plus
  • Willingness to learn AI tools
  • Strong experience with Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets is a plus
  • General knowledge of RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot platform issues requiring independent judgement and decision-making
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including explaining complex subjects to a non-technical audience
