Full job description Platform Operations Engineer responsible for supporting multiple applications in an enterprise hosted environment. Duties include escalation support, performing application upgrades, issue resolution, workload management, and communication with end users. Requires 3-5 years experience or equivalent education in Computer Science or related field. Must have strong Linux administration skills, knowledge of protocols (DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP), scripting (Shell/Python), and configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible). Must hold RedHat certifications (RHCSA/RHCE). Responsibilities include mentoring, documentation, and working rotational shifts (24/7).

Engage with senior engineers to document SOPs, design changes, and review prior to implementation Requirements Minimum 3-5 years related experience or equivalent education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or Master's with 3 years experience, or PhD Basic knowledge of OS, Database, and Networking concepts Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Strong Linux administration and server administration skills Thorough understanding of DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP protocols Experience with RedHat certifications (RHCSA / RHCE) Knowledge of web servers, application servers, DNS and Mail servers Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell or Python Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible is a plus Experience configuring and managing zones Experience with server administration, monitoring, security management, log analysis, and vulnerability remediation Basic knowledge of ELK and Tableau Willingness to work rotational shifts (24/7) Tech stack Linux RedHat CentOS Rocky Linux Shell scripting Python Puppet Ansible DNS HTTP LDAP SMTP SNMP Web servers Application servers Mail servers ELK Tableau
