Amazon Ads is seeking an experienced solution architect to join the global solutions architecture team advising ISVs, digital advertising agencies, and large customers on API-based advertising solutions. The role involves building relationships with tech leaders, acting as a trusted advisor, and supporting revenue objectives through adoption of Amazon ad products. Responsibilities include designing and scaling solutions using REST APIs and SDKs, educating customers, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to partner training. Required skills include experience with microservices, SOA, API management, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and emerging technologies such as Gen AI and MCP. Candidates must have 2+ years in application design or consulting, 4+ years in technology domains, 3+ years in IT development or consulting, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in technology sales, customer implementations, and leadership. The position is full-time with multiple US locations: Sunnyvale, Seattle, New York, and San Francisco. Salary ranges from $131,300 to $204,300 annually depending on location. Requirements
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
4+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Bachelor's degree in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent, or experience in defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance
1+ years of analytical and quantitative skills experience demonstrating the ability to use data and metrics to back-up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions
Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting (preferred)
Experience working with end user or developer communities (preferred)
Experience working directly in customer implementations (preferred)
Experience in online advertising, marketing, sales or digital media (preferred)
2+ years of leadership experience with business reviews and adapting to work to business review outcomes (preferred)
