Full job description

Samba TV is seeking a Measurement Partner based in Sydney to lead campaign measurement studies from design to report delivery for media, advertising, and publishing partners in APAC. This senior individual contributor role requires 5+ years experience in digital advertising measurement, expertise in ad effectiveness research, and strong knowledge of the Australian digital marketing landscape. Responsibilities include managing multiple research projects across platforms, building client relationships, driving product adoption, and developing local measurement benchmarks. Required skills include proficiency with R, SQL, Python, statistical analysis, project management, and experience with streaming and digital video measurement methodologies.

What you'll do

  • Own and execute end-to-end campaign measurement studies from feasibility assessment through to report delivery
  • Manage multiple simultaneous research projects across various media platforms including social, digital streaming, DOOH, DSPs, and SSPs
  • Understand tactic-level nuances of each platform to create specific and bespoke insights aligned to campaign performance
  • Serve as main point of contact and build strong relationships with Marketing Science and Analytics teams at key publishers, platforms, and agencies
  • Drive adoption of Samba TV's measurement products among new and existing partners in Australia
  • Catalog feedback from external stakeholders and relay actionable insights to product and engineering teams
  • Help make inroads with new potential customers as a subject matter expert on methodology, report deliverables, and tactical setup
  • Assist in building Australia-specific norms, narratives, and benchmarks to demonstrate effectiveness of measurement solutions
  • Develop and improve measurement processes to create efficiencies focused on scale across APAC region

Requirements

  • BA/B.Sc in Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising measurement at brand direct, agency, or platform analytics level
  • Experience with ad effectiveness vendors delivering reach and frequency, brand lift, or sales lift studies
  • Expertise in ad effectiveness research studies and strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape in Australia
  • Comfortable managing large data sets using R, SQL, Python, or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently and develop repeatable, scalable processes
  • Strong understanding of statistical analyses and measurement study design using control/exposed methodologies
  • Expertise in project management supporting multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Keen eye for detail in building and QAing reports ensuring on-time delivery
  • Experience with streaming and digital video measurement methodologies
  • Knowledge of Australian broadcast and streaming landscape (e.g. BVOD, SVOD, FTA) is a strong advantage
  • Confident communicator with track record of building and maintaining client relationships in Australia
  • Familiarity with local Australian data and measurement ecosystem (e.g. OzTAM, Nielsen, IAB Australia standards) is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones in a global team
