Full job description

Appodeal is seeking a Senior User Acquisition Manager to drive growth of mobile gaming titles via Google Ads and Meta Ads. The role involves strategic and hands-on management of UA campaigns across Android and iOS, focusing on data-driven marketing strategies, experimentation, and continuous optimization. Responsibilities include owning UA strategy, executing campaigns, optimizing performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing experiments, automating processes, and contributing to UA strategy development. Requirements include 3-5+ years of UA/performance marketing experience in mobile gaming, expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, knowledge of iOS measurement frameworks (AEM, SKAN), experience managing large budgets, understanding of mobile attribution ecosystems, data analysis skills, and familiarity with AI tools for automation and optimization. The position is based in Barcelona, Spain.

What you'll do

  • Own and scale UA strategy across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) with full ownership of performance and growth
  • Lead end-to-end campaign execution across both Android and iOS, including setup, scaling, and optimization
  • Continuously optimize performance through structured testing, iteration, and insight generation; identify scalable growth levers and double down on what works
  • Work closely with creative, product, ASO, and data teams to align on strategy, testing roadmap, and performance improvements
  • Design and run meaningful experiments (creative, bidding, targeting, funnel), interpret results, and translate them into actionable insights
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and drive automation of manual processes to improve speed, scalability, and performance
  • Contribute to overall UA strategy, share learnings, and raise the bar on execution and decision-making within the team

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of UA / performance marketing experience in mobile gaming
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Meta (Facebook)
  • Strong experience running campaigns for both Android and iOS apps
  • Solid understanding of Advanced iOS Measurement (AEM) and SKAN-based setups
  • Experience with Meta’s Aggregated Event Measurement (AEM) and post-IDFA ecosystem
  • Proven track record of managing large budgets and scaling profitable campaigns
  • Strong understanding of the mobile attribution ecosystem (MMPs, SKAN, conversion tracking, incrementality, etc.)
  • Experience with data analysis and BI tools (Tableau or similar), ability to work with performance data independently
  • Experience with web/app funnels is a plus
  • Comfortable working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
  • Experience with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development environments is a strong plus
  • Strong mindset toward automation and optimization of manual workflows
  • Ability and willingness to leverage AI to increase efficiency, speed up iteration cycles, and improve decision-making
  • Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
  • Strong ownership mindset — able to operate independently and drive results
  • Curious and proactive — constantly testing, learning, and improving
  • Clear communicator, able to align cross-functional teams
