DoubleVerify seeks a Data Analyst to join the Marketing Insights team at their NYC Global HQ. The role involves supporting data-driven marketing and thought leadership initiatives by leveraging first-party data. Responsibilities include creating and presenting insights biweekly, maintaining data integrity, updating dashboards, maintaining public-facing data references, collaborating cross-functionally, and responding to ad hoc data requests. Candidates should have 1-2 years of analytical experience, familiarity with SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Data Studio), experience in digital media/marketing or ad tech, strong communication skills, and an analytical mindset. Preferred skills include Python experience and relevant coursework. Salary range is $54,000 to $101,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Create and present findings, insights, and trends biweekly to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain data source integrity with regular updates and backups
  • Create new data sources and update dashboards as products are released
  • Maintain references and directories for public-facing statistics and collateral
  • Work cross-functionally to curate data-based narratives for new and existing products
  • Respond to ad hoc data and insight requests from internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write and edit queries using SQL or other database programming languages
  • Experience managing data and visualizations with Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, or other business intelligence applications
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical capacity (data & analytics, business analytics, or insights preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital media/marketing or ad tech space
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to audiences with varying technical expertise
  • Curious, self-starter with an analytical mind
  • Experience finding actionable insights within large data sets
  • Skilled in managing complex data from multiple sources and understanding ETL processes
  • Passionate about data architecture, engineering, and visualization
