Full job description

Lead a software engineering team responsible for Buyer Cloud App services supporting DSP digital real-time bidding campaigns. Manage design, development, and updates of APIs and web applications aligned with business goals. Collaborate cross-functionally to define project requirements and timelines. Implement KPIs and best practices to improve development efficiency and product quality. Monitor industry trends and propose technological enhancements. Requires experience leading teams of 4+, proficiency in Python and Django, and 5-7 years relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

What you'll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering an inclusive culture encouraging innovation and continuous learning
  • Oversee planning and design of software and web applications including new programs, enhancements, and modifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, set timelines, and maintain communication
  • Manage software design and application updates, coordinate roll-outs ensuring enhancements meet technical specifications
  • Implement key performance indicators for development processes and advocate best practices to improve efficiency and quality
  • Manage deliverables ensuring adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets while mentoring staff
  • Monitor industry technological developments and evaluate external products to keep team knowledge up-to-date
  • Develop proposals, software changes, and manage capital expenditure projects to drive innovation and operational excellence
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
  • Work nights and weekends as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience leading software engineering teams of 4 or more
  • Proficient with Python
  • Experience with Django
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience
