Full job description
Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead backend engineers building low latency, high throughput ad tech systems. Requires strong experience in Go/Java backend development, microservices, serverless architecture, and database systems. Responsibilities include leading feature development, optimizing performance, code/design contributions, team leadership, and fostering growth. Requirements: 8+ years experience including managing backend teams, 6+ years programming in Java/Go, experience with scalable distributed systems, cloud services (AWS/GCP), real-time system performance, agile and CI/CD processes. Ad tech experience preferred. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Salary range $150,000 - $200,000. Location: Los Angeles, California.
