Full job description
Manager, Sales, Retail Media role responsible for driving net new brand acquisition strategy across Retail Media Americas. Requires 5-7 years technology sales or sales management experience and strong digital advertising knowledge. Responsibilities include strategy development, process improvement, new business planning, team leadership, and execution of sales activities. Must hire, develop, and coach sales teams, manage pipeline and performance metrics, and report to senior leadership. What you'll do
- Own and drive net new brand acquisition strategy across Retail Media Americas business
- Partner with leadership to define priorities, goals, and go to market approaches
- Assess total addressable opportunity across CPG/FHH categories to inform targets and growth goals
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities in net new motion and design scalable solutions
- Lead process improvement and automation, building repeatable playbooks and tools
- Advocate for tools, systems, and structural changes to modernize new business acquisition
- Own new business number end to end: market sizing, goal setting, execution, and course correction
- Work with Industry Leads on Net New Assignment process and retailer lead navigation
- Define benchmarks for pipeline coverage, outreach activity, conversion rates, and revenue attainment
- Build and maintain new business scorecard distinguishing baseline and stretch growth goals
- Translate revenue targets into measurable activities for sellers
- Identify early indicators of risk or opportunity and adjust priorities or tactics
- Hire, develop, and coach Account Executives and Sales Managers focused on new advertiser acquisition and expansion
- Build culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Develop individuals for growth into senior seller roles
- Lead team to surpass revenue goals while maintaining pipeline health and activation velocity
- Play active role in sourcing, closing, and launching new brand partnerships
- Monitor performance metrics across net new funnel and adjust strategy in real time
- Report new business performance and insights to senior leadership
- Contribute to strategy, execution, and culture of Retail Media Sales organization
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5-7 years of experience in technology sales and/or sales management
- Strong understanding of digital advertising
- Team management experience in complex, high-performance environments (bonus)
- Deep knowledge of direct marketing, online and offline advertising technologies (bonus)
- Natural leader who takes action and challenges status quo (bonus)
- Superior analytical skills including ability to see granular and big picture issues (bonus)
- Outstanding communication skills; able to translate complex ideas into simple stories (bonus)
