Full job description

Amazon Ads seeks a Manager of Sales Account Management to lead a team of Sales Account Managers specializing in programmatic advertising and Amazon Ads solutions. The role involves managing revenue targets, developing team strategy, coaching on ad tech and agency partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to drive agency satisfaction and revenue growth. Requires 6+ years digital advertising experience, 3+ years people management, strong communication and organizational skills, and a proven track record in revenue growth. Preferred qualifications include 10+ years in advertising with programmatic and AI tool experience. What you'll do

  • Hire and develop a high-performing team; conduct resource management and capacity planning
  • Develop, execute, and inspect team strategy, goals, and action plans to achieve revenue objectives and targets
  • Become a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Advertising solutions and partner on agency strategy at senior leadership levels
  • Support the team in educating agencies on Amazon’s ad tech offerings, performance metrics, insights, and how to achieve greater results
  • Coordinate across internal Amazon Ads leadership and cross-functional teams to represent agency business results and advocate for agency needs
  • Obtain ongoing agency and partner feedback to assess performance against organizational objectives
  • Define and scale team processes and best practices to drive consistently strong performance

Requirements

  • 6+ years digital advertising experience in a customer-facing role (ad agency, ad tech partner, digital marketing, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years people management experience
  • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results including revenue targets and contributing to advertiser and/or agency revenue growth
  • Experience with influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Ability to proceed in absence of defined processes and provide input on them
  • Adept at solving problems that span business and technology
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent; MBA is a plus
  • Preferred: 10+ years work experience in Advertising with experience in programmatic, media buying/planning, customer success
  • Preferred: Programmatic strategy, emerging AI tool adoption, and implementation experience
  • Preferred: Ability to make smart trade-offs and understand long-lasting impact on agency business
