Full job description

Participate in full software development cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, and documentation. Responsible for code reusability, stability, and resolving security and usability issues. Work independently with project overview and take ownership of complex application features. Provide accurate estimates and deliver quality software features on time. Deliver training, share knowledge, and mentor new engineers. Integrate recent technologies and follow company release processes. Requirements: 8-12 years experience, expertise in Java/Node JS/Python, Azure workflows, schema design, dimensional modelling, data warehouse optimization, code reviews, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, unit testing, cloud implementation (Azure), microservices, RESTful services, NoSQL & SQL, Docker, containerization, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, Kafka, JIRA, Git, GitHub, strong communication, leadership, and technical documentation guidance. Good to have experience with AWS, GCP, GraphQL, serverless, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Babel, Webpack, NestJS, Jest, Lint, Helm, Apache Airflow, Grafana, and Loki.

What you'll do

  • Participate in the entire software development cycle - requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing and documentation
  • Responsible for long-term code reusability and stability
  • Proactively identify security, usability issues and formulate strategies to resolve them
  • Work independently with broader overview on the project
  • Take ownership of delivery of complex application features and resolve key technical issues
  • Comply with estimation process and provide accurate personal estimates
  • Develop required software features achieving timely and quality delivery
  • Deliver training and participate in knowledge sharing
  • Mentor new software engineers in the team
  • Integrate recent technologies
  • Understand and follow release processes in the company

Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of experience
  • Expertise with building components/Services using Java/Node JS/Python
  • Expertise in building Agentic workflows on Azure
  • Expertise with Schema design and dimensional modelling
  • Optimizing data warehouse performance
  • Experience in leading code reviews
  • Understanding of SOLID principles
  • Understanding of TDD or BDD
  • Good knowledge and experience of writing good unit tests
  • Good implementation design using cloud (Azure)
  • Experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful Webservices, NoSQL & SQL
  • Exposure towards Docker & containerization, CI/CD pipeline design & build
  • Experience with Event driven architecture, Kafka
  • Use of tools such as JIRA, Git, GitHub
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead discussion and solve problems for the dev team
  • Ability to manage expectations of Product/Business teams
  • Provide guidance on inline technical documentation
