Full job description

Zeta Global is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at scale. The role involves designing and building backend services and APIs for identity resolution, developing event-driven pipelines, deploying cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and scalability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring engineers. Required skills include Python, Java, or Scala, Kafka or similar, Spark/Hive/Flink, Airflow/Luigi, Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Helm, SQL, AWS, and familiarity with columnar/NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Snowflake, HBase, Scylla, and Couchbase. Bonus skills include experience with large-scale distributed systems, real-time streaming frameworks, open table formats, and security or privacy related to identity systems.
