InMobi Advertising is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to transform the Global Business Analytics & Insights team into an AI-powered decision intelligence layer. The role involves designing scalable BI frameworks that evolve from dashboards to automated decision workflows, developing semantic layers and metric definitions, and building AI-powered analytics agents using Databricks and warehouse technologies. Responsibilities include forecasting revenue, detecting anomalies, identifying growth drivers, generating actionable insights, enabling self-serve analytics, ensuring data quality and governance, and collaborating cross-functionally with GTM, strategy, and product teams. Candidates should have 4-8 years of experience in analytics, BI, RevOps, or strategy roles, strong SQL skills, experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), Python, and a strong analytical mindset. Experience or interest in AI/ML applications, conversational BI, and adtech is a plus. The position is full-time and located in Bangalore, India. What you'll do
- Design and own scalable BI frameworks evolving from dashboards to insights, recommendations, and automated actions
- Develop semantic layers and metric definitions to standardize decision-making across teams
- Transition organization from report consumption to decision intelligence systems
- Define and execute roadmap toward agentic BI with AI agents answering business questions autonomously
- Build use cases for automatic query translation, proactive insights generation, and conversational interface outputs
- Partner in building AI-powered analytics agents on Databricks and warehouse layers
- Build models to forecast revenue and pipeline health, detect anomalies, and identify growth drivers and inefficiencies
- Develop leading indicator frameworks and early warning systems for GTM performance
- Identify root causes of business trends and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Support leadership with narrative-driven insights
- Build self-serve analytics experiences tailored to different personas
- Reduce dependency on analysts by enabling intuitive, trustworthy data access
- Drive adoption from dashboard reviews to intelligent system reviews
- Ensure data quality and governance across systems like Salesforce, Databricks, and BI tools
- Investigate data discrepancies and build robust governance mechanisms
- Collaborate with data engineering to ensure clean, reliable, scalable pipelines
- Partner with GTM teams (Marketing, Sales), GTM enablement teams (Strategy, Revenue Operations, Finance), and Product & Marketplace teams
- Influence decision-making through data-backed narratives
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting workflows, eliminate redundant analysis, and build reusable analytics assets
Requirements
- Strong SQL and experience working with large-scale datasets (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Strong analytical thinking: root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, problem structuring
- Experience building end-to-end analytics solutions
- 4–8 years in analytics / BI / RevOps / strategy roles
- Experience working with GTM / revenue teams
- Exposure to data modeling and metric design
- Experience with Python / statistical modeling / forecasting
- Experience or interest in AI/ML applications in analytics
- Experience or interest in Conversational BI / NLQ systems
- Experience or interest in building internal data products
- Prior AdTech / Marketplace experience
