Full job description

Lead Analyst role requiring 3-7 years experience in market research data processing and project management. Responsible for managing a team of 2-5 members, executing various market research studies including tracking, copy-testing, concept-testing, and segmentation. Must have expertise in SPSS, programmatic platforms (quantum, dimensions), survey programming, data validation, weighting, and coding. Responsibilities include project scheduling, budgeting, client management, process improvement, training, and documentation. Requires strong communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving skills, and ability to work night shifts and rotational shifts. Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate preferred. Willingness to travel and work at client sites.

What you'll do

  • Manage projects within timelines
  • Efficient programming and deliver studies with FTR approach
  • Plan and prepare project schedules and timelines for internal and external teams
  • Anticipate and proactively address potential issues
  • Work with clients to resolve specific issues
  • Maintain good hygiene and prepare project documentation
  • Knowledge of weighting, data merging, coding, SPSS
  • Program surveys with any input data
  • Understand questionnaire logic and project requirements
  • Understand different market research methodologies such as max-diff, segmentation
  • Execute projects as per plan
  • Budgeting, documentation, appraisal, reviews, sharing feedback
  • Manage client relationships
  • Evolve processes, audit and review
  • Build productivity and track team efficiency
  • Attend regular training to improve execution speed and adhere to standards
  • Reconcile and manage programmatic platform updates
  • Support internal team in preparing invoices for completed projects

Requirements

  • 3-7 years relevant Market Research experience
  • 5-6 years project management or Data processing experience
  • 2 to 4 years of experience managing a team of 2 to 5 members
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Post Graduate or B School degree in Operations or Market Research preferred
  • Experience with tracking (continuous and wave), copy-testing, concept-testing, segmentation, and various brand and market sector studies
  • Client centric mindset and consulting skills
  • Emotional intelligence, collaborative, consensus builder, good conflict management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working night shifts, rotational shifts, 24/7 operational support, and weekends
  • Sense of ownership
  • Ability to work in high stress, high productivity, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • PC proficiency with Internet, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel abroad and work out of client site
