The Trade Desk seeks an Application Security Engineer to join the Cybersecurity Department. This role is suited for a software engineer interested in application security and building security tools. Responsibilities include building security tools and automations, partnering with engineering teams to identify and remediate security issues, integrating security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines, investigating security findings, participating in design and code reviews, and writing production-quality code to enhance the Application Security program. Candidates should have a BS degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years of software development experience, proficiency in languages such as C#, Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript, and familiarity with secure software development principles and modern development practices.
