Full job description

Verve is hiring iOS engineers at mid (Engineer II) and senior (Level III) levels to develop and maintain the iOS HyBid SDK. Responsibilities include SDK core development, architecture, product collaboration, cross-platform parity with Android, agile team collaboration, migration to Swift Package Manager, telemetry development, ad rendering optimization, and automation framework maintenance. Candidates must have strong Swift and Objective-C skills, understanding of SDK constraints, familiarity with Kotlin/Java for Android, and experience with GCP and AI development tools. Level II requires 3+ years of iOS application engineering experience; Level III requires 6+ years with expertise in framework deployment, architectural refactoring, and advanced iOS runtime mechanics. What you'll do

  • Develop, refine, and maintain core functional modules of iOS HyBid SDK
  • Architect and lead framework evolution focusing on memory constraints, thread-safety, backward compatibility, and conflict-free execution
  • Partner with product managers and stakeholders to estimate effort, refine requirements, and prioritize delivery
  • Collaborate with Android team to ensure cross-platform parity and synchronized releases
  • Engage in agile cycles, bug fixing, code reviews, and maintaining documentation
  • Manage privacy manifest configurations, SKAdNetwork metadata, and binary-size validation (senior level)
  • Provide technical guidance and code reviews for engineering staff (senior level)
  • Build and validate framework bundles for Swift Package Manager and lead migration from CocoaPods to SPM (senior level)
  • Develop and test isolated telemetry submodules for runtime fault logging
  • Build, polish, and optimize ad-rendering modules and monetization adapters, focusing on AppLovin MAX integration
  • Maintain automation workflows with GitHub Actions and validate tests on cloud-hosted environments (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

Requirements

  • Solid operational capability across Swift and Objective-C, with understanding of ARC rules, multi-threaded profiling, and asynchronous protocol layers
  • Understanding of unique constraints of building an SDK and delivering robust SDKs into varying host environments
  • Comfort navigating and reading Android (Kotlin/Java) code for comparative logic tracking
  • Familiarity with GCP / Google Cloud environments
  • Pragmatic, safe approach to leveraging modern AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, LLMs)
  • Level II: 3+ years of professional iOS application engineering with framework development or large-scale shared utilities experience
  • Level III: 6+ years of specialized iOS software development with experience deploying and scaling static and dynamic binaries
  • Level III: Proven background in architectural refactoring, framework transitions, and technical debt reduction
  • Level III: Master-level proficiency bridging Swift and Objective-C, expert grasp of iOS runtime mechanics, memory management (ARC), and Grand Central Dispatch (GCD)
