Full job description

Internship role for SDET to build automated testing systems for a large-scale AdTech platform. Responsibilities include developing automated test scripts using Playwright or Selenium, API testing for RESTful services, bug lifecycle management, performance testing, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Requirements include pursuing or recently completed degree in CSE/IT or related field, proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript, understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Git. The role is on-site in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Playwright or Selenium to validate web applications and internal tools
  • Write code to validate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication between microservices
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to understand the root cause
  • Assist in executing load and stress tests to ensure systems can handle millions of daily events
  • Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to provide immediate feedback to the engineering team

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CSE/IT or a related technical field
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about how complex systems fail
  • Basic understanding of software QA methodologies, the SDLC, and Version Control (Git)
