Full job description

Junior role for a candidate currently enrolled in an IT or software development program. Responsibilities include testing frontend and backend functionality of e-commerce platforms, developing and maintaining test automation scripts in Ruby, performing explorative testing, reporting bugs, and defining test cases with clients and team members. Technologies used include Ruby, Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Git, and Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Jira.

What you'll do

  • Test frontend and backend functionality of e-commerce platforms
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts in Ruby
  • Perform explorative testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
  • Report bugs and defects clearly, and collaborate with the team to find solutions
  • Define test cases in cooperation with clients and team members
