Full job description
Smartly seeks a Head of Sales - LATAM to lead commercial growth in Mexico and Spanish-speaking LATAM markets. The role involves leading and developing a team of Account Executives, managing strategic enterprise relationships, and driving the full enterprise sales cycle. Responsibilities include setting sales goals, pipeline management, forecasting, relationship building with senior executives, managing high-value accounts, defining and executing regional go-to-market strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements include strong experience in enterprise SaaS or ad tech sales, team leadership, managing complex sales processes, deep knowledge of digital advertising and marketing technology, bilingual Spanish and English fluency, and willingness to travel across LATAM. What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives across the LATAM region
- Set regional sales goals, manage pipeline health, and deliver accurate forecasting
- Drive the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Build and maintain senior executive relationships with enterprise brands, agencies, and strategic partners
- Manage a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts across multiple markets
- Define and execute the LATAM go-to-market strategy aligned with regional growth objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Agency, Product, and Marketing teams to support customer growth and retention
- Represent Smartly at industry events, executive meetings, and customer engagements across the region
Requirements
- Strong experience in enterprise SaaS, advertising technology, or digital marketing sales
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams within a growth-stage technology environment
- Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes
- Deep understanding of digital advertising, media buying, performance marketing, and marketing technology
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution in a player-coach capacity
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior and C-level stakeholders
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Comfortable traveling across LATAM as required for customer and team engagement
