Full job description
Head of Political and Issue Advocacy role to lead and define political vertical strategy, build and scale sales focused on political and advocacy clients, identify growth opportunities, drive revenue growth with political agencies, PACs, advocacy groups, and government entities. Requires 10+ years in digital media or AdTech sales with political/public affairs experience, strong political media network, understanding of CTV, programmatic, contextual and cookieless strategies, and proven high-value deal closing. Responsibilities include thought leadership, partnership development, market trend translation, and collaboration with Product and Marketing teams to tailor solutions. Position Seedtag’s neuro-contextual advertising capabilities in a regulated environment and bring market insights to evolve product and go-to-market strategies. Hybrid work model with flexible schedules.
What you'll do
- Own and define the Political vertical strategy across the market
- Build and scale a high-performing sales function focused on political and advocacy clients
- Identify growth opportunities aligned with key election cycles and market dynamics
- Drive new business and revenue growth across political agencies, PACs, advocacy groups and government entities
- Develop long-term partnerships with top-tier political agencies and consultants
- Lead complex, high-value deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Act as a thought leader in political advertising, representing Seedtag in key industry events and forums
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the political ecosystem, including agencies, strategists, data partners and media buyers
- Translate market trends such as CTV growth, cookieless targeting and contextual AI into clear commercial opportunities
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to tailor solutions for political use cases
- Position Seedtag’s neuro-contextual capabilities within a highly regulated and sensitive environment
- Bring market insights back into the business to help evolve the product and go-to-market approach
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital media or AdTech sales, ideally within political or public affairs
- Proven experience working with political agencies, advocacy groups and/or government clients
- Strong network across the political media ecosystem
- Solid understanding of CTV, programmatic and contextual or cookieless strategies
- Track record of closing high-value, strategic deals
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build and scale a vertical from scratch
