Full job description

Lead commercial strategy for Mexico by identifying target accounts, building pipeline, and closing deals across agencies, advertisers, and media companies. Provide consultative sales approach educating clients on Samba's data and audience solutions. Manage full sales cycle and forecasting. Negotiate strategic partnerships with local broadcasters, OEMs, data providers, platforms, and technology partners. Map Mexican media and advertising ecosystem to identify opportunities. Serve as technical contact for integrations and troubleshooting. Provide technical pre-sales support including demos and proof-of-concept. Develop Mexico market entry strategy covering regulatory, competitive, compliance, partnership, and revenue aspects. Build operational foundation including processes and success metrics. Provide market updates and strategic recommendations to leadership. Requires 10+ years commercial experience in ad tech, media, data, or SaaS, bilingual Spanish/English, MBA or equivalent, and strong network in Mexican media ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Own the commercial strategy for Mexico: identify target accounts, build pipeline, and close deals across agencies, advertisers, and media companies
  • Take a consultative approach to sales, educating the market on Samba's data, measurement, and audience solutions
  • Develop and execute account plans for key prospects, manage full sales cycle, and maintain accurate forecasting
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with local broadcasters, OEMs, data providers, platforms, and technology partners
  • Map the Mexican media, advertising, and data ecosystem to identify key players and opportunities
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for prospects and partners, scope integrations, troubleshoot implementation questions, and translate product capabilities into client solutions
  • Provide technical pre-sales support including product demos, RFIs/RFPs responses, and proof-of-concept solutions
  • Develop a comprehensive Mexico market entry strategy covering regulatory landscape, competitive positioning, data privacy compliance, partnership requirements, and revenue projections
  • Build the operational foundation for Samba's Mexico presence including defining processes, reporting cadences, and success metrics
  • Provide regular market updates and strategic recommendations to international and executive leadership

Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial experience in ad tech, media, data, or SaaS
  • Proven track record of launching products, entering new markets, and closing deals in Mexico or Latin America
  • Commercially sharp and strategically minded
  • Technically fluent with understanding of APIs, data integrations, programmatic ecosystems, and measurement methodologies
  • Deeply networked across the Mexican ecosystem with established relationships with agencies, broadcasters, platforms, and advertisers
  • Knowledgeable about the Mexican media and data landscape including television ecosystem, audience data, cross-screen measurement, and data privacy regulations (LFPDPPP)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (native or professional fluency)
  • Self-directed and cross-functional collaborator
  • Comfortable presenting to C-suite buyers and navigating complex enterprise negotiations
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a top-tier program
