Full job description
Skai is hiring a Growth Director, Enterprise to manage and grow strategic enterprise client portfolios, drive net revenue expansion, and lead client conversations on AI-powered marketing technology. The role reports to the VP, EGrowth. Responsibilities include client retention and growth, managing renewals, pipeline development, executive relationship building, product selling of Skai's AI suite, and internal collaboration with Client Success and product teams. Candidates should have 5-8+ years of SaaS sales experience to enterprise clients, preferably with a background in media planning, digital advertising, or ad-tech, proven success in exceeding net revenue retention targets, executive presence, and proficiency with Salesforce. The position is hybrid with three days in office per week in New York City. Salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 base plus commission and equity.
What you'll do
- Retain and grow assigned strategic enterprise clients by managing senior-level relationships and owning the overall partnership
- Drive net new revenue via upsell and cross-sell including global expansion, product expansion, new lines of business, and custom projects
- Manage the renewal process end-to-end: identifying opportunities, leading negotiations, and finalizing contracts
- Pipeline development, account planning, forecasting, and proactive management of leads across assigned regional enterprise clients
- Lead account development by establishing and deepening relationships with senior client executives and key decision-makers
- Represent Skai at client, industry, and other events
- Understand clients' industries and business needs to exemplify Skai as a strategic partner
- Develop strong fluency in Skai's agentic product suite and translate capabilities into business value for enterprise buyers
- Lead discovery conversations to understand clients' AI workflows and partner with product and client success teams to co-create solutions
- Stay current on AI and agentic marketing landscape to advise clients on market trends
- Partner with Client Success team to ensure high customer satisfaction and ongoing support
- Be an expert in Skai products and positioning internally and externally; provide client insights to product and GTM strategy
- Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and other sales productivity tools
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of sales experience, including selling SaaS-based software and service solutions to enterprise clients
- Background in media planning, digital advertising, ad-tech, or SaaS strongly preferred; agency experience welcome
- Proven track record of exceeding net revenue retention (NRR) targets and expanding strategic accounts
- Genuine curiosity for AI-powered products and ability to hold credible conversations about agentic workflows
- Executive presence and ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Skilled use of Salesforce and other sales productivity tools
