Full job description

Smadex is seeking a Growth Data Scientist with 3+ years experience to analyze large datasets and improve programmatic advertising campaign effectiveness. The role requires strong skills in Python, SQL, statistical analysis, and communication. Responsibilities include deep data analysis, partnering with business and technical teams for testing and strategy, and influencing product and ML roadmaps. Candidates must have a quantitative degree and US work authorization. This is a full-time, on-site position in Austin, Texas. What you'll do

  • Dive deep into complex datasets covering behavior of millions of users and apps worldwide to extract actionable learnings
  • Partner with business and technical teams to drive rigorous analysis and testing to maximize campaign performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to channel market insights and performance data into roadmap influencing Product and ML strategies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / Data Scientist
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Sciences)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to formulate questions, run analysis to articulate a recommendation
  • Proven working knowledge of Python, SQL and large data sets
  • Understanding of analytic methodologies for data evaluation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
  • Knowledge of the ad-tech industry is a plus
  • Work authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
