The Trade Desk is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to design and build systems orchestrating advertising across channels for unified campaign experiences. Responsibilities include end-to-end project ownership, cross-team collaboration, translating business requirements into technical designs, delivering high-quality code with automated testing, and mentoring engineers. Candidates should have 4+ years of software development experience, strong backend and distributed systems skills in C#, Java, or Python, and a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals. Experience with large-scale data processing tools (Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Flink), cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform), and ad tech or real-time bidding systems is a plus. The role is full-time based in Boulder, Colorado. Salary range is $124,900 to $170,000 USD.
