Full job description

Quantcast is hiring a Field Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Toronto, Ontario. This full-time, on-site role requires 3+ years of sales development or business development experience, with a focus on engaging senior executives (Director, VP, C-suite) through multi-channel outreach. The Field SDR will work closely with Account Executives to research and map target accounts, attend industry events, and conduct face-to-face meetings to generate pipeline for large strategic accounts. Responsibilities include account research, tailored outreach planning, event representation, pipeline management in Salesforce, and collaboration with marketing and sales enablement teams. The role requires strong communication skills, self-direction, proficiency with Salesforce and sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo), and willingness to travel 30-50%. Prior experience in Ad Tech, MarTech, SaaS, or digital media is a plus. The salary range is $81,000 - $99,500 OTE CAD, with additional performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Research and map Field accounts to identify organizational structure, key stakeholders, initiatives, and pain points
  • Build tailored outreach plans in coordination with Account Executives
  • Engage VP-level and C-suite contacts through multi-channel campaigns
  • Represent Quantcast at industry trade shows, regional events, executive dinners, and conferences
  • Drive pre-event outreach, maximize on-site engagement, and execute post-event follow-up
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings, office drop-ins, and local networking within assigned territory
  • Participate in account planning sessions and co-develop strategies to penetrate priority accounts
  • Maintain meticulous records of account activity and pipeline progression in Salesforce
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor positioning
  • Partner with Marketing on event strategy, content needs, and campaign feedback
  • Work with Sales Enablement to refine playbooks and share field learnings

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a closing sales role
  • Experience engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders (Director, VP, C-suite) through outbound prospecting
  • Comfortable and confident in field settings: trade shows, executive events, client meetings, and in-person networking
  • Strategic thinker who can research complex organizations and craft account-specific outreach
  • Self-directed professional who manages own territory and calendar with minimal oversight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive audiences
  • Collaborative with Account Executives, Marketing, and cross-functional teams
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com and modern sales engagement tools
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% within assigned territory
  • Prior experience in Ad Tech, MarTech, SaaS, or digital media is a strong plus
