Expression of Interest: Senior Data Scientist (Growth Data Science)

What you'll do

• Provide data products such as raw data, campaign facts, and growth insights to help customers improve campaign performance
• Develop, maintain, and improve global experiment processes to scale standard and bespoke experiments
• Data gathering, analysis, and communication of presentations and recommendations to stakeholders
• Create custom visual displays of quantitative information through queries, scripts, automated reports, and dashboards
• Verify data from ad exchanges and mobile-app tracking solutions for accuracy
• Monitor campaign performance and partner with sales teams on bespoke client analysis
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve products and services focusing on client growth

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Proficient in launching, running, optimising, and landing experiments end to end
• 5 years and above experience with statistical packages (e.g., Python, SQL)
• Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin and English (speaking and writing)
• Strong knowledge and experience in experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, time-series analysis
• Experience in Python and SQL programming
• Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize based on business needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to build positive relationships within data science community and with business stakeholders and clients
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural partners
• Interest in data, metrics, analysis, and trends with a customer-centric mindset
• Preferred: Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline
• Preferred: Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
• Preferred: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to articulate product and business questions
• Preferred: Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and demonstrate leadership and self-direction
• Preferred: Ability to seek out new business questions and scope projects to support client growth and campaign strategy
