StackAdapt is hiring an Account Director for its Enterprise team, prioritizing candidates with experience in Commerce/CPG verticals. The role involves leading sales efforts to drive growth by acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts in programmatic advertising. Responsibilities include prospecting new brands, responding to RFPs, cultivating relationships with agency executives, collaborating on product development, partnering with Account Managers, demonstrating the media buying platform, and managing forecasts. Candidates must have 5-10+ years experience in DSP, SSP, ad networks, or digital agencies, proven success in CPG vertical sales, strong networks with decision-makers, deep programmatic ecosystem knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record of exceeding revenue targets. The position is full-time, remote-first, and based in the United States. What you'll do

  • Prospect, identify and target new brands within untapped markets
  • Lead responses to RFPs and new agency opportunities including qualification and win strategy
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with top executives at advertising agencies and brands
  • Engage in product development discussions based on client feedback with senior stakeholders
  • Partner with Account Managers to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies
  • Showcase StackAdapt's media buying platform through product demonstrations
  • Manage and communicate quarterly forecasts and pipeline accurately

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years experience at a DSP, SSP, publisher, ad network, ad server, or digital agency
  • Proven experience in the CPG vertical with an established network of decision-makers
  • Deep understanding of client business goals and programmatic solutions
  • Strong network and relationships with decision-makers at holding company advertising agencies, independent agencies, and brands
  • Solutions oriented approach to customer challenges
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and DSP dynamics
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings and conduct senior-level presentations
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Curious, eager to learn, and consistent strive for excellence
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
  • Previous experience selling programmatic advertising
