Full job description
StackAdapt is hiring a senior Account Director for its Enterprise team to drive programmatic advertising sales growth, focusing on Auto and Entertainment verticals. This full-time remote role requires 5-10+ years of experience selling programmatic advertising at DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, or digital agencies. The candidate must have a strong network in the Auto or Entertainment verticals, proven revenue success, and deep knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem. Responsibilities include prospecting new clients, responding to RFPs, cultivating executive relationships, collaborating with account managers, and managing sales forecasts. What you'll do
- Prospect, identify and target new brands within untapped markets to fill the sales pipeline with high-quality prospects
- Lead responses to RFPs or new inner agency opportunities including qualification and win strategy
- Establish and cultivate relationships with top executives at advertising agencies and their associated brands
- Engage in product development discussions based on client feedback with senior stakeholders across sales, product and engineering
- Partner with StackAdapt Account Managers to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions
- Showcase the benefits of StackAdapt's media buying platform through detailed product demonstrations
- Accurately manage and communicate quarterly forecasts and pipeline
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience selling programmatic advertising at a DSP, SSP, publisher, ad network, ad server, or digital agency
- Proven experience in the Auto or Entertainment vertical with an established network of decision-makers and demonstrated success driving revenue in that space
- Deep understanding of client business goals with the ability to translate programmatic solutions to help drive success for clients while meeting sales targets
- Strong established network and relationships with decision-makers at hold-co advertising agencies, independent agencies, and brands
- Solutions oriented approach: ability to understand and communicate customer challenges and pain points and navigate internally to help solve challenges
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and DSP dynamics
- Ability to travel to meet with customers in-market and conduct senior-level presentations
- Strong communication, presentation skills, and story-telling ability
- Curious, eager to learn, and consistent strive for excellence
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
