The Big Data Group at Adform seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee two backend engineering teams focused on real-time data microservices. The role involves people management, project delivery, stakeholder alignment, and ensuring high team performance. Responsibilities include hiring and mentoring engineers, planning and executing backend projects, collaborating cross-functionally, owning system reliability and incident management, refining team processes, and providing technical guidance. Candidates should have proven leadership experience managing backend or cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, agile project delivery experience, mentoring ability, solid engineering best practices knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a technical background in backend engineering, distributed systems, or Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, Vertica, and cloud platforms. Experience in AdTech or data-intensive domains is preferred.
