Full job description
Freestar is seeking a Director, Publisher Sales to establish and lead revenue-generating partnerships with publishers and ad-enabled mobile app developers. Responsibilities include prospecting new business, identifying premium publishers, managing sales pipeline, closing deals, collaborating with senior management, and maintaining CRM records. Candidates should have 3-5 years of publisher sales experience, knowledge of digital media, strong relationship management, problem-solving, presentation skills, and be self-motivated. This is a full-time, salaried, fully remote position. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What you'll do
- Actively prospecting new business opportunities with high-volume outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, virtual meetings, and onsite customer meetings
- Proactively identifying mid-tier, premium publishers and relentlessly presenting the Freestar pitch in a compelling way
- Managing the pipeline to ensure that you're achieving sales and revenue targets and growing the business
- Closing high-value deals
- Working closely and communicating regularly with your supervisor on active deals and challenges
- Collaborating with senior management to close deals
- Maintaining accurate records in Freestar’s CRM
Requirements
- 3-5 years, consistent track record in Publisher Sales
- Possess knowledge of the digital media space and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Customer-focused attitude with relationship management skills
- Creative problem solving capabilities
- Effective presentation and communications skills
- Ability to work independently
