Full job description

InMobi Advertising seeks a Director of Product Marketing to lead commerce narrative, market positioning, and go-to-market strategy for DSP products. The role requires ownership of DSP commerce story, product marketing for app user acquisition, re-engagement, and retargeting, and leadership across product, marketing, sales, and business teams. Responsibilities include defining customer profiles, prioritizing use cases, building commerce strategy and narrative, managing ecosystem partnerships, and driving product launches. Candidates must have 10+ years experience in product marketing or go-to-market strategy within Adtech, Martech, commerce media, or retail media, with strong leadership skills and ability to operate in fast-paced environments. The position is full-time, on-site in New York or San Mateo, with a base salary range of $206,500 to $275,000 USD plus variable pay and equity. What you'll do

  • Act as the voice of the customer for DSP-led commerce and app growth products
  • Build deep understanding of buyer motivations, constraints, and decision criteria
  • Define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buying personas
  • Prioritize highest-impact use cases and pressure-test internal assumptions
  • Define commerce strategy and narrative including outcomes, ICPs, use cases, and differentiation
  • Own product marketing strategy and narrative for app user acquisition, re-engagement, and retargeting
  • Lead product marketing strategy across broader ecosystem including third-party DSP integrations and strategic partnerships
  • Own PR/FAQ frameworks, positioning documentation, launch narratives, and go-to-market strategies
  • Partner closely with Product to validate ICP and buyer needs, define success metrics, and influence roadmap prioritization
  • Drive event-led and moment-led launches with strategic intent
  • Lead and mentor product marketers focused on outcome-driven, market-first product marketing
  • Serve as strategic thought partner to senior leadership on DSP commerce and app growth positioning and investment priorities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product marketing, platform marketing, or go-to-market strategy within the Adtech, Martech, commerce media, or retail media ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated market positioning that drives adoption and revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of commerce, performance marketing, and retail media network dynamics, including how budgets are allocated and how buying decisions are made
  • Experience defining category narratives, value propositions, and product positioning in competitive and rapidly evolving markets
  • Ability to operate with an outside-in, customer-first mindset, using market insight to shape product and go-to-market strategy
  • Track record of partnering closely with Product teams to influence roadmap decisions and drive successful product launches
  • Experience executing both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) go-to-market motions in high-growth technology environments
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior executives
  • Experience building and mentoring product marketing talent and establishing scalable product marketing practices
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities evolve, and strategic judgment is essential
