Director, Product Management - Agentic App Suite

What you'll do

• Define the strategic direction for how agentic applications operate within AthenaOS, including standards for discovery, orchestration, navigation, integration, and governance
• Lead OS-level constructs underpinning all applications in Athena including lifecycle standards, orchestration patterns, navigation, layout, experience primitives, role and access inheritance models, and consistency
• Architect and operate an application governance model including certification criteria, moderation and review workflows, risk, compliance, privacy boundaries, safety, isolation, and resource-governance standards
• Define and steward reusable building blocks for app creation such as modular capability primitives, multi-app UX patterns, enterprise design language, security and privacy guardrails, and predictable APIs
• Partner with Athena AI teams to define how applications are assembled, extended, or generated through LLMs including model context protocol integration, AI reasoning representations, guardrails, human-in-the-loop validation, and automated compliance checks
• Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, security, privacy, infrastructure, AI research, and GTM to drive cohesive execution and influence executive-level product strategy

Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Management experience with deep focus on platforms, operating systems, ecosystems, or AI-driven application frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to define governance, certification, or compliance systems at scale
• Strong architectural intuition and systems thinking
• Experience collaborating closely with AI/ML teams on model interfaces, guardrails, or agentic workflows
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven cross-functional influence
