Full job description
Microsoft's Creative, Advertising & Integrated Marketing team seeks a Director of Creative Production to lead production of advertising campaigns across Windows, Surface, and Services. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end production of integrated campaigns (advertising, film, photography, digital, social, experiential), partnering with creative teams and agencies, selecting production partners, managing relationships with vendors, translating briefs into production plans, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, contracting, and delivery, ensuring creative quality, and maintaining compliance with Microsoft standards. Requires 6+ years in production or broadcasting, preferably 10+ years in end-to-end production with award-winning or viral advertising experience. Skills needed include proficiency in production tools and AI workflows, project and stakeholder management, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination. Salary ranges from USD $142,800 to $274,800 annually, with higher ranges in San Francisco Bay and New York City areas.

Requirements
6+ years experience in professional production environment (e.g., lighting, shooting, audio recording, web production, writing), post-production environment, or broadcasting
OR equivalent experience
10+ years experience in end-to-end production
Experience with award-winning or viral film and TV advertising
Proficient in production tools and emerging AI-enhanced workflows
Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, collaborative environment
Experience working with internal creative teams, freelancers and production houses
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, workforce allocation and vendor coordination
