Full job description

AppLovin seeks a mid-level full-time sales professional to join the Consumer team in North America, based in New York City. The role focuses on demand-side business development in in-app performance advertising, targeting Consumer App and Web brands and Agencies. Responsibilities include managing growth with CMOs and marketing heads, developing strategic relationships, driving sales of the Axon advertising platform, managing sales cycles and pipelines, and collaborating cross-functionally. Candidates should have at least 5 years of sales experience in digital marketing with consumer apps, eCommerce, or agencies, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do

  • Engage with CMOs/Head of Marketing of consumer mobile apps to manage growth and implement consultative sales processes
  • Develop strategic relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Proactively contact new/existing clients to educate, propose and secure buy-in for AppLovin’s Axon advertising Platform
  • Identify, propose and sell to targeted organizations across North America to achieve sales goals
  • Lead key Agency relationships to develop partner growth across North America
  • Manage entire sales cycle and individual sales pipeline to maximize revenue and provide accurate forecasts
  • Provide professional service responding to client requests
  • Understand client priorities and drive action plans for revenue growth
  • Communicate product, strategic value, contractual, technical, and financial updates with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with broader Business Development and Sales teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and internationally across multiple operational teams
  • Translate partner feedback into prioritized business cases to inform product roadmap
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent AppLovin and grow industry knowledge
  • Work closely with product teams and partners to launch product betas, partner integrations, and commercialization strategies

Requirements

  • Solid experience in digital marketing focused on Consumer App and Web brands and Agencies
  • Strong experience selling to marketing teams at Consumer App and web companies and Agencies
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of mobile & eCommerce ecosystems
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to drive outcomes benefiting demand clients
  • Understanding of larger business context and ability to contribute to full platform business
  • Ability to thrive in early-stage business settings
  • Manage multiple priorities and lead several time-sensitive projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate client feedback into product development
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in sales with Consumer App Companies, eCommerce and Agencies
  • Understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem
  • Willingness to travel as needed
