Full job description

Director of Data Strategy role focused on building and growing Attain's data feeds business supporting Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Financial Services. Requires expertise in data feeds ecosystem, transaction data, and ability to translate client business needs into technical solutions. Responsibilities include data evaluation, commercial model development, strategic planning, technical articulation, data analysis, and collaboration with Product and Strategy teams. Requires 8+ years experience in digital advertising or data businesses, strong knowledge of advertising and data feeds industries, hands-on experience with identity and data connectivity platforms (LiveRamp, Snowflake, InfoSum), managing technical partnerships with major platforms, managing technical teams and projects, and strong SQL and Python skills.

What you'll do

  • Conduct an exploratory data evaluation on a new transaction dataset to identify strengths and opportunities, and share feedback with internal teams
  • Partner with a Sales executive to develop a multi-product commercial model for a new client that enables them to drive value for their business
  • Build out a strategic plan for growing Attain’s data feeds business in the next year through TAM expansion
  • Articulate the technology nuances of Attain’s data feed product to technical client leaders across Data Science and Engineering
  • Develop an analysis on existing internal datasets to identify fields that can be improved or added to existing products to strengthen client utility
  • Collaborate with Product and Strategy to design custom data solutions that meet clients’ specific needs

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising or data businesses
  • Strong knowledge of the advertising, consumer insights, or data feeds industries
  • Hands-on experience with identity and data connectivity platforms, cleanrooms, and privacy-preserving data workflows (e.g., LiveRamp, Snowflake, InfoSum, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated success managing high-impact technical partnerships with major platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, The Trade Desk, Amazon, Paramount, Disney), including driving integrations from initial scoping through to live deployment
  • Proven experience managing technical teams and projects
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python
