Full job description

InMobi Advertising seeks a Director of Business Development based onsite in New York, NY. This full-time role reports to the Chief Business Officer and focuses on leading global strategic partnerships and growth initiatives in the addressability ecosystem. The candidate will leverage a strong industry network to close complex, high-value deals and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Leadership. Responsibilities include developing business development strategy, negotiating multi-stakeholder agreements, advising executive leadership, and identifying emerging technologies. Requirements include 12-15 years of relevant experience, strong commercial acumen, global market understanding, executive presence, and experience with product teams. The role offers a base salary range of $168,350 to $233,100 USD plus potential variable bonuses and equity. What you'll do

  • Lead global business development strategy and execute high-value partnerships
  • Build and leverage industry network to unlock new opportunities in addressability ecosystem
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Leadership to align initiatives
  • Translate market opportunities into scalable partnership models and commercial agreements
  • Lead complex multi-stakeholder negotiations ensuring alignment across commercial, technical, and product priorities
  • Act as strategic advisor to executive leadership on market trends and growth opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, data partnerships, and ecosystem shifts
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term growth strategy and expand global footprint
  • Contribute to evolving business development function and operating model

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic growth roles
  • Strong and consistent track record of closing complex, high-value deals
  • Established network of senior industry relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in structuring and negotiating strategic partnerships
  • Experience operating in global roles with understanding of international markets
  • Executive presence and ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Experience working closely with product teams; product management experience or fluency preferred
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling strategic partnership programs in ad tech, data, or digital media
  • Solid understanding of addressability landscape including data partnerships, identity solutions, signal loss challenges, and privacy regulations
  • Ability to operate strategically and operationally balancing long-term partnerships with near-term revenue impact
