Full job description

Director, Agency Development role responsible for building and executing Taboola's North American agency development strategy. Requires 10+ years in digital advertising with strong agency development focus and established senior relationships in US agency holding companies. Role involves managing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, agency enablement, collaborating with sales, supporting commercial agreements, gathering market intelligence, and leading a small team. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office in NYC. Frequent domestic travel expected.

What you'll do

  • Own and grow senior relationships with top US agency holding companies, independents, trading desks, and key subsidiaries
  • Map and engage agency organizations top-down across executive leadership and practice areas
  • Drive large-scale agency enablement through trainings, demo days, workshops, and strategic roadshows
  • Partner with agencies on cobranded marketing, thought leadership, tentpole activation, PR, and event activations
  • Collaborate with sales teams to connect agency relationships to opportunities and convert enthusiasm into revenue
  • Support commercial agreements that advance strategic partnerships and revenue growth
  • Gather market intelligence and relay agency feedback to internal teams including product, marketing, and GTM
  • Represent Taboola as a thought leader at industry events and work on reeducation of legacy perceptions
  • Build and manage a small agency development team, setting goals and tracking performance

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising at a top-tier technology or media company, with a strong focus on agency development
  • Established relationships with VP and C-suite stakeholders at major US agency holding companies and their subsidiaries
  • Deep knowledge of the agency ecosystem including holding companies, trading desks, and agency brands
  • Track record of driving revenue growth and business impact through strategic agency partnerships
  • Ambitious entrepreneurial mindset with a love of building relationships, strategy, and commercial structures
  • Deep understanding of how to integrate digital tech companies into agency buying and operating systems
  • Comfort with frequent travel (2+ domestic trips per month)
  • Bonus: Experience working with programmatic or performance-focused agency buyers and major holding companies
  • Bonus: People management experience with a track record of building or leading high-performing teams
