Full job description

Director role responsible for refining and executing sales strategy to meet revenue targets across advertiser verticals including Pharma, Healthcare, Cable, Streaming, Retail, Pets, and Education. Requires 12+ years in sales, business development, and client success in advertising technology, with 5+ years managing teams and programmatic technology experience. Responsibilities include leading sales teams, collaborating with internal teams, client relationship management, and guiding product feature discussions. Compensation range is $220,000 to $300,000 USD plus bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Refine the sales strategy and ensure successful execution to meet revenue targets across key advertiser verticals including Pharma, Healthcare, Cable, Streaming, Retail (Big Box and Mass), Pets, and Education
  • Lead by example in promoting a collaborative work environment and holding the team accountable for their targets and performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Product Management, R&D, and client success teams to ensure client needs are met effectively
  • Travel to events, conferences and clients' meetings as needed
  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders both internally and externally, navigating challenges and influencing decision-making
  • Develop lasting relationships with in-house teams at brands and advertisers to drive strategic growth
  • Guide discussions with clients on the roadmap of product features and advocate for the development of solutions that meet their needs

Requirements

  • Twelve plus years of experience in sales, business development, and client success within advertising technology
  • Five plus years of managing a team
  • Five plus years of Programmatic technology experience (DSP, SSP, Ad Server, DMP, CDP, etc)
  • Ability to understand and teach clients the dynamics of the sell-side or buy side including supply-side platforms, ad serving technology, and programmatic advertising landscape
  • Ability to meet and exceed revenue goals by leading teams to achieve objectives and grow business with brands and advertisers
  • Ability to present effectively to C-level executives and navigate challenges with poise and confidence
  • Ability to lead with empathy and emotional intelligence, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Problem solver, idea generator, and doer
