Full job description

Seeking a DevOps Frontend Engineer with 3-6 years experience in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and frontend engineering. Responsibilities include developing responsive web apps, building reusable components, translating UI/UX designs, integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs, managing state with Redux or similar, optimizing performance and SEO, setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing builds and deployments, working with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), monitoring application performance, ensuring code quality, troubleshooting issues, and participating in Agile processes. Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong React and Next.js skills, experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, cloud platforms, frontend testing, and performance optimization. Good communication and teamwork skills needed.

What you'll do

  • Develop, test, maintain responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Build reusable frontend components and libraries
  • Translate UI/UX designs from Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch into pixel-perfect, responsive, accessible UIs
  • Work with Next.js features including SSR, SSG, routing, middleware, API routes
  • Integrate frontend with backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Implement and manage state using Redux, Zustand, Context API, React Query
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, SEO, performance
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Manage frontend build and deployment across development, staging, UAT, production
  • Work with Docker for application packaging and deployment
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Configure and manage environment variables, build configurations, deployment scripts
  • Monitor frontend performance using Lighthouse, Web Vitals, Sentry, Datadog, New Relic, or similar
  • Ensure code quality via code reviews, linting, formatting, unit testing, best practices
  • Write clean, maintainable, scalable, well-documented code
  • Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, frontend bugs, production incidents
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives
  • Stay updated with latest frontend, DevOps, cloud, web performance trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 to 5 years professional experience in frontend development with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js
  • Good understanding of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, or styled-components
  • Strong knowledge of React fundamentals including functional components, hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, performance optimization, reusable component design
  • Experience with Next.js features such as SSR, SSG, ISR, file-based routing, middleware, image optimization, API routes
  • Experience integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with frontend state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, React Query, Context API
  • Good understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility, accessibility, mobile-first development
  • Hands-on experience with Git workflows, branching, pull requests, code reviews
  • Minimum 2 years practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment automation
  • Experience with build tools and package managers like Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm, Yarn, pnpm
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Docker and containerized deployment
  • Exposure to cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Understanding of web servers, hosting, deployment services like Nginx, Vercel, Netlify, AWS S3, CloudFront, Azure Static Web Apps
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright
  • Good understanding of performance optimization techniques including lazy loading, code splitting, caching, bundle optimization, Core Web Vitals
  • Knowledge of frontend security best practices including secure API usage, token handling, CSP, dependency vulnerability management
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
