Full job description
Developer intern position at Merkle in Aarhus. Full-time internship from mid-January for 3-4 months, unpaid. Work on backend development of an API Management system using Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Docker, and Azure. Responsibilities include building backend solutions, unit and E2E testing, debugging, and collaborating in agile teams. Requirements include relevant IT/software education, eagerness to learn, teamwork skills, and professionalism. Benefits include social events, learning opportunities, and free breakfast and lunch. On-site role at Merkle's Aarhus office.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain backend solutions in Java/Spring Boot, including REST endpoints and integration with external services
- Gain practical experience with unit tests, automated E2E testing, and debugging
- Learn how a modern API Management system fits together (frontend, BFF, database, and platforms such as SAP APIM and Entra ID)
