Full job description

Deal Desk Intern role supporting commercial agreements including pricing structures for Retail Media and incentive deals for Performance Media. Reporting to Deal Desk Manager EMEA & APAC, working closely with Deal Desk Analysts. Responsibilities include preparing incentive deals, guiding client solutions teams on rebate/incentive deals, retrieving client financial data, summarizing proposals for leadership approval, preparing monthly billing info, managing invoicing and reporting, maintaining deal database, and ad-hoc tasks. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance preferred), self-motivated, good communication, ERP system learning ability (SAP, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI a plus), strong Excel skills. Location: On-site in Barcelona, Spain. Internship position.

What you'll do

  • Support preparation of profitable incentive deals (~60%)
  • Work with deal desk analyst to guide client solutions teams worldwide through rebate/incentive deal process for Commerce Growth new deals and renewals
  • Retrieve client financial data to propose adequate financial terms protecting company P&L
  • Summarize client situation and deal proposal for leadership approval
  • Prepare monthly non-standard billing information (~20%)
  • Validate, prepare and process pre-billing information for invoice generation
  • Manage customer specific invoicing and reporting requirements
  • Maintain accurate deal database and help drive insights (~10%)
  • Perform ad-hoc initiatives and tasks (~10%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred and/or strong appetite for data-driven & process-related topics
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, flexible and able to change priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize ERP systems
  • Good command of Excel (use of vlookups & pivot tables)
