Full job description

Moloco is seeking a Data Scientist Growth Analytics intern for a minimum 6-month internship based in Shanghai. The role involves data gathering, analysis, and communication to improve campaign performance and client growth. Responsibilities include creating visual data reports, validating data accuracy, monitoring campaign performance, and collaborating with sales and stakeholders. Candidates must be current Bachelor's or Master's students with strong knowledge in statistics, experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, and time-series analysis. Proficiency in Python and SQL is required. The position is on-site and does not support remote work.

What you'll do

  • Data gathering, analysis, and communication of presentations and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Creating custom visual displays of quantitative information through queries, scripts, automated reports, and dashboards
  • Verifying data from ad exchanges and mobile-app tracking solutions for accuracy
  • Monitoring daily campaign performance and partnering with sales teams on bespoke client analysis
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to improve products and services focused on client growth

Requirements

  • Current student in a Bachelor's or Master’s program
  • Able to complete an internship of at least 6 months
  • Strong knowledge and experience in experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, and time-series analysis
  • Experience in Python and SQL
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize work based on business needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships within data science & analytics community and with business stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural partners
  • Interest in data, metrics, analysis, and trends with a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to articulate product questions
  • Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and be creative beyond delegated tasks
