Full job description

Credit Risk Analyst role supporting WW O2C team. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements to determine customer credit limits, managing medium credit limit accounts, resolving credit issues, presenting recommendations to management, analyzing delinquent receivables, resolving payment disputes, identifying non-payment trends, and recommending strategies to prevent delinquencies. May train new team members. Requires 2-4 years credit or banking experience, strong communication, negotiation, accounting knowledge, understanding of credit processes and payment systems, problem solving, computer skills, risk mitigation knowledge, and basic project management. Position based in Gurugram, India. Shift: 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST. Full-time, on-site role.

What you'll do

  • Use financial statements to independently determine the financial condition of customers and decide credit limit recommendations for medium monetary value customers
  • Manage accounts of customers with medium credit limits independently
  • Resolve credit issues independently
  • Present credit recommendations to management
  • Analyze and research customer's receivables account delinquency and determine the type of communication method to facilitate payment
  • Resolve disputes related to customer payment on delinquent accounts and negotiate and ensure payment from customer
  • Recognize trends for non-payment and resolve issues by engaging internal partners at all levels
  • Analyze at-risk customers, agencies, partners and recommend account strategies to prevent delinquencies
  • May train new team members

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in credit internally or in banking
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Developed accounting knowledge
  • Advanced understanding of credit processes, financial principles
  • Strong understanding of customer's internal payment processes
  • Solid problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Solid understanding of risk mitigation tools
  • Basic project management skills
