Teads is hiring a Credit Manager for its France Finance team based in Paris. The role involves managing customer invoicing, optimizing cash collection, supporting financial reporting, and leading automation and AI integration efforts. Responsibilities include overseeing invoicing accuracy and delivery, automating workflows, collaborating with sales and accounting teams, monitoring receivables, managing customer relationships for timely payments, supporting French e-invoicing reform implementation, and ensuring audit readiness and SOX compliance. Candidates should have initial experience in credit management or related finance roles, strong Excel and ERP skills, a foundational understanding of accounting principles, and fluency in French and English. Experience with digital media, advertising, Microsoft Dynamics, Planful, Basware, Pagero, or SOX compliance is a plus. The position offers growth opportunities into finance controlling, cash forecasting, and business analysis.
What you'll do
- Manage and monitor end-to-end customer invoicing process for Teads France ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and accelerate recurring invoicing workflows
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Accounting teams to resolve invoicing blocks, customer claims, and billing disputes
- Support documentation and quality improvement of AR and billing processes
- Monitor customer receivables and overdue balances using finance systems and AI tools to automate reminders, predict payment trends, and optimize workflows
- Follow up with customers and agencies to ensure timely payments and improve DSO
- Prepare aging reports, track collection updates, and flag potential payment risks
- Contribute to deployment of French e-invoicing reform and support transition to new e-invoicing tools
- Prepare documentation and analytical answers for internal and external auditors regarding AR balances and invoicing compliance
- Support SOX compliance and monthly bad debt provision analysis
- Contribute to short-term cash forecasting and provide insights into major receivable movements
Requirements
- First successful experience in credit management, customer invoicing, AR accounting, finance operations, or financial controlling
- Strong intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills (data manipulation)
- Comfort navigating modern ERP/finance software
- Genuine appetite for trying new digital tools, AI prompts, or automation workflows
- Solid foundational understanding of customer receivables, aging balance impacts, and basic accounting principles
- Highly organized, precise, and comfortable maintaining clear audit trails
- Native/fluent French with professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Bonus: Experience or strong interest in digital media, advertising, or a fast-paced B2B tech environment
- Bonus: Previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics, Planful, Basware, Pagero, or automated collection software
- Bonus: Prior exposure to SOX compliance or structured internal control environments
